Will Varcoe
Will is the founder of RUBISKO, where he builds production management software for seaweed, vertical farming and other emerging agriculture industries. His work focuses on taking complex biological and operational processes and turning them into clear, practical digital systems that fit how producers actually work.
He has worked with leading companies such as Hortimare and has contributed to several innovation and grant-funded projects across the emerging ag sector. Will also developed the RUBISKO Hub in partnership with Phyconomy - a simple online tool that helps people explore the seaweed industry through an interactive map of companies and facilities.
Examples of his work include:
- developing bespoke production management platforms for hatcheries, farms and processors
- creating operational dashboards, data models and automated workflows
- supporting teams as they move from spreadsheets to structured digital processes
- advising on software strategy, process design and practical data use in early-stage industries
